Rozgar Mela: A Major Step for Youth Empowerment

The Rozgar Mela initiative was launched in October 2022 to provide more job opportunities for India’s youth. Since then, it has become a significant platform for young people seeking stable government jobs. The 16th edition of the event marks a huge milestone, with the total number of appointment letters issued crossing 10 lakh (1 million) across the country.

The government has made employment generation a top priority. The Rozgar Mela is helping young people from all regions and backgrounds find meaningful work. The selection process is structured and transparent, focusing on merit and ensuring that the most deserving candidates are chosen for various roles in government ministries and departments.

A Boost for Nation-Building and Public Service

Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India’s youth are the country’s greatest strength. He encouraged the new recruits to put citizens first and contribute to nation-building. The new employees will work in sectors such as railways, healthcare, postal services, finance, and security, playing a key role in strengthening public services and infrastructure.

The Rozgar Mela is not just about job distribution; it is about empowering the next generation to participate in the country’s growth and development. By offering structured career opportunities, the government aims to inspire young people to take an active role in building a stronger, self-reliant India. The initiative continues to provide hope and opportunities for millions, making a real difference in the lives of Indian youth.
